Artistic residency at Château Rouge from 2011 to 2016
During this residency, Château Rouge and the Malka company built a path of recognition and fruitful collaboration. The trust and support shown by Château Rouge have helped to forge links and initiate new paths between the theatre and its audiences, the people of Haute-Savoie and the company.
Three choreographic works have been created at Château Rouge, Têtes d’affiche and Un Casse-noisette in 2012, and La preuve par l’autre with choreographers Anne Nguyen and Farid Berki in 2014. The choreographer will also be presenting Boomerang and Des Air(e)s d’anges.
Among the projects carried out during this residency, we should mention the participation in two Défilé de la Biennale de la danse de Lyon in 2012 ‘Pluies de danse’ and in 2014 ‘A Opera do Povo’, with a large group each time made up of around 500 participants from this border territory (French and Swiss) called the Arc Valdo-Genevoises.
