For this creation, Bouba Landrille Tchouda called on the complicity of choreographers Anne Nguyen and Farid Berki, outstanding figures on the hip hop scene. In their company, Bouba has embarked on a new dialogue and a new artistic adventure, working with them to devise a rather unusual device: each of the choreographers has chosen two dancers and then created a choreographic act with all six dancers, based on a common theme: otherness.
In this piece, the choreographers share with the dancers and the audience their quest for meaning, for being oneself with the other, for being together. Where each, with ‘his’ dance, is able to nourish a vision, transcribe and transmit singular perceptions generated by encounters with these ‘others’, exceptional humans, immense territories to be probed, at the heart of intimate journeys. An ode to the discovery of the elusive and the unique, the other.
